We either have them or are dealing with someone with them. What is the effect of the single parent home on relationships and friendships? Do people who grew up absent a father develop differently? I want to hear your thoughts.

Yes the problem is they grown with a dysfuntional view of family. Because they never had the experience they do not know how to create one or the importance of having both parents…they also don’t get that first hand experience of watching how to maintain a relationship in the home..which can affect how they have relationships in the future.

So Jackie, do you think it is more difficult to be in a relationship with someone that grew up without a father figure? To take it further, do you think someone who grew up with out a father figure is capable of having a normal relationship with the opposite sex?
